Studio On Screen Social ("we", "us") is a social-media planning dashboard operated by Studio On Screen, available at social.studioonscreen.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions any time: hello@studioonscreen.com.

What we collect

• Account details — your email address and name, used to create and secure your account and to send essential service emails (e.g. password resets). Passwords are stored hashed by our authentication provider (Supabase); we never see them in plain text.
• Your workspace content — brands, posts, drafts and settings you create in the dashboard, stored so your work is saved to your account.
• Usage counts — how many AI generations you use, to enforce your plan's monthly allowance.
• Billing — payments are processed by Stripe. We store your subscription plan and Stripe customer reference; we never see or store your card details.

Google user data (YouTube connections)

If you choose to connect a YouTube channel, we request read-only access via Google sign-in (the youtube.readonlyscope). We access your channel's profile (name, handle, avatar) and its public statistics (subscriber, view and video counts) and display them to you inside your own dashboard. That is the only use we make of this data.

• OAuth tokens are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and are only ever used server-side to fetch your stats.
• Stored statistics are refreshed and replaced regularly (roughly every 12 hours when you use the app).
• We do not share, sell, or transfer Google user data to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising, credit assessment, or to train AI models.
• Disconnecting a channel in Settings immediately deletes the stored tokens and channel data. You can also revoke our access from your Google security settings.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Studio On Screen Social uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. The Google Privacy Policyalso applies to Google's handling of your data.

AI features

The AI Writer and Ideas tools send the text you provide (topic, tone, brand voice settings) to Anthropic's Claude API to generate content, and the result is returned to you. We don't use your content to train models.

Cookies

We use essential cookies only — to keep you signed in and to secure the account-connection flow. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Data retention & deletion

Your data is kept while your account is active. Disconnecting a social account deletes its stored tokens and data immediately. To delete your entire account and its data, email hello@studioonscreen.comand we'll action it promptly.

Who we share data with

Only the service providers that run the product: Supabase (database & authentication), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email) and Anthropic (AI generation). We never sell your data.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we'll update this page and the date above. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
